For mild to moderate Osteoarthritis1
SmHArtfix contains high molecular weight Sodium Hyaluronate produced by bacterial fermentation, with a PH of 6.8-7.4 intentional for intra-articular use to improve viscosity of synovial fluid. Intended for patients suffering from pain and decreased mobility associated with traumatic or degenerative changes, including osteoarthritis.
The therapy consists of a varying number of injections depending on the medical device:
SmHArtfix Multi: three injections, administered weekly
SmHArtfix One: one injection
The beneficial effects of the treatment are intended to last for at least six months. Treatment may be repeated, if required.
