The MCS System is intended for the temporary fixation, correction or stabilisation of bones at the sternum, breastbone for both pediatric and adult patients for the following indications:

  • Pectus Excavatum

  • Sternal Deformation

  • Haller index of 3.2 and higher

  • Mechanically Compressed Lung (atelectasis)

  • Cardiac Arrhythmias

  • Cardiac Compression

  • Mitral-/ tricuspid Valve Vices

  • Heart Murmurs and AV Conduction Delay

  • Psychological Stress due to the chest deformity

By combining specialised instrumentation with a dedicated fixation method, the system is designed to support established minimally invasive pectus repair approaches used in pediatric and adult patients.

  • Screw-based stabilisation mechanism designed to support plate placement
