The Phoenix Antegrade Femoral Nail System consists of trochanteric
and piriformis fossa entry point nails that allow for reconstructive
or interlock applications. Each nail features proprietary CoreLock
Technology, a preassembled, embedded locking mechanism that allows two
6.0mm cannulated reconstructive screws or a 5.0mm interlock screw to
be mechanically locked to provide enhanced proximal femoral
fixation.
Features & Benefits:
- CoreLock Technology is a locking mechanism preassembled within
the nail, therefore eliminating freehand insertion
- Same preassembled locking mechanism that can be used for either
reconstructive or interlock screw applications
- 6.0mm
cannulated reconstructive screws can be inserted directly over a
guide wire while maintaining reduction
- Both trochanteric and piriformis fossa entry nails allow for either reconstructive and interlock applications
